Pyjama and Literacy Day!

We had a great time celebrating Family Literacy Day today! We have been learning about fairy tales and how to retell stories. We've also been learning about identifying characters and settings. We decided to try writing our own fairy tale today! I will post the final story soon. We ended the day by reading our favourite books with our reading buddies while being all snuggly in our pyjamas.

Poem/Homework week of January 23rd

As tomorrow is Family Literacy Day our poem/homework this week is all about reading!

Pyjama Day!

Just a reminder that we will be having a pyjama day this Friday! Wake up in the morning, change into some fresh new pajamas, pick up your favourite book and come to school!

Snowman crafts

There may not be snow outside, but we've got snowmen on our minds!

Snow Leopard

Our class has decided to donate money to the World Wildlife Fund to symbolically adopt a Snow Leopard! There will be more information sent home about this in the Friday Folders this week, so watch out for that!
